Demo Start

1. How to Get Started in Minutes

Creating an account takes just minutes. With passwordless login and built-in security, you’ll be ready to start using AI tools faster than you think. Watch how easy it is to get started.

Welcome to GenDiligence. GenDiligence is AI-native, built from the ground up to be simple and intuitive for investment managers and allocators. You can be up and running, and already drafting accurate answers to complex investor questions or completing full DDQs, in under 15 minutes. Let’s create an account. We enter our email address and click on the Send OTP button, which stands for one-time passcode. This sends an email containing your one-time passcode. Once you receive it, enter the code into the system and click Continue. Now we’ll need to set up our authenticator app. This makes the system passwordless and incredibly secure. We recommend using Google Authenticator, but any authenticator app on your iPhone or Android device will work. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app. This will generate a code, which you enter into the field on screen before clicking Continue. From here, every login is simple. Enter your email address, your one-time passcode, and your authenticator code. No passwords to remember. And that’s all it takes. Your account is now live, secure, and ready to use.

2. Organise by Strategy, Fund, or Function

Workspaces keep your answers precise and organised. Whether by fund, strategy, or business function, they ensure information never gets mixed up. See how simple it is to create and switch between them.

At the heart of GenDiligence are workspaces. Workspaces let you organise information by strategy, fund, business function, or whatever else works best for you. For example, if you run multiple strategies, like in this example, keeping each one in its own workspace avoids mixing answers, so your DDQs and responses stay precise. Some managers also use workspaces for different parts of the business, such as Compliance, HR, or Investor Relations, treating them like secure, AI-powered wikis. And for allocators or consultants, separate workspaces make it easy to manage information across multiple managers without overlap. Let’s create one now. We’ll call this one the Asian Equities Fund. When creating a workspace, you also have the option to assign a Workspace Admin. Workspace Admins manage that specific workspace. They can add users and data, but they don’t have access to account-wide settings. So we’ll add one now. We’ll add Sara. You can also assign Workspace Admins later from Account Settings, as you can see here. For more details on user roles, see the Users section. Each workspace has its own tools and Workspace Management section. This keeps information and user permissions separate. You can jump between workspaces at any time using the dropdown in the top left. Workspaces give you structure, keeping information clean, organised, and easy to manage across strategies, business functions, or multiple managers.

3. Control User Access and Data

Control exactly who can access a workspace, and what data it can use. Upload files or connect drives - all ingested securely and optimised for AI accuracy. Watch how it works.

Each workspace has a Workspace Management area, which you can find here in the left-hand menu when you’re within a workspace. This area is only accessible to Super Admins and Workspace Admins. From here, you can control two things: who can use the workspace, and what data it has access to. You can manage who can use the workspace in the Members section at the top, and control what data it has access to in the section below. First, let’s look at Members. Here you can see all the users who have access to this workspace, such as the Super Admin and the Workspace Admin. Importantly, you can also add or remove Standard Users. So let’s add a user. As you can see, Jack Williams is now a Standard User within this workspace. Next, let’s add data. You can upload single files or multiple files using the Upload button, or entire folders using the Upload Folder button. Let’s start by uploading a couple of files. GenDiligence ingests documents in a way that’s optimised for AI, chunking them, tagging them, and understanding tables and charts. This may take a little longer than a normal upload, but it makes answers faster and more accurate when you’re using the system later. Security and privacy are built in. Each account has its own segregated space in AWS. Your data is never used for training. When storing your data, personal or proprietary details are replaced with placeholders, ensuring that sensitive information never leaves the system. And if you delete data, it’s permanently removed, so you stay in control. For full security and privacy details, see the link below this video.

4. Instant, Referenced Answers

Get instant, referenced answers from your own documents. No hallucinations, no wasted time. See how GenDiligence gives you concise or detailed responses, always linked back to the source.

Access Workspace Tools by clicking on the Tools icon in the left-hand menu. The Ask a Question tool works like a secure, professionally trained version of ChatGPT, using only the information in your workspace. Type a question to query your uploaded documents. By default, you’ll see a concise answer. By clicking on the answer, you can toggle between a concise and a detailed response. The detailed answer provides a more comprehensive explanation. Importantly, every answer shows its sources, so you can see exactly which document and page the information came from. If the information isn’t in your workspace, the system won’t make something up. Let’s try a question we know the workspace doesn’t have information on. As you can see, the system clearly tells you the information is not available. In other words, it doesn’t hallucinate. If you need to adjust an answer, click Amend, edit the text, and then click Approve. Once you click Approve, the system learns from that change. Approved updates are saved into the workspace as a new source, creating a clear audit trail the system learns from. The tool is also highly flexible. You can ask open or specific questions. You can prompt in different languages or request a particular tone. For example, let’s ask for the previous answer in French. You can also use the hash (#) feature to limit your query to a specific document within your workspace. Let’s try that now by querying the January newsletter. With Ask a Question, you get fast, accurate, and sourced answers in seconds. And if the answer isn’t there, the system will tell you.

5. First Drafts in Minutes, Not Weeks

Turn weeks of manual copy-paste into minutes. Upload a questionnaire, and GenDiligence drafts the answers for you - sourced, accurate, and auditable. Watch how it delivers a full draft in under 5 minutes.

Completing due diligence questionnaires is one of the most time-consuming tasks for any manager. With GenDiligence, it takes minutes. So let’s see how it’s done. First, we go to Workspace Tools and select Upload a Questionnaire. From here, we choose a questionnaire to upload. We’ll select this DDQ request from an investor. The system scans the document, understands the structure and context of each question, and generates a first draft of all the answers. By default, answers are concise, but you can toggle to Detailed if you need more depth. And just like in the chat tool, every answer shows its sources of information, so you know exactly where the content came from. If the system doesn’t have the information, it won’t guess. It will clearly mark the answer as Insufficient information. Let’s have a look. Here, we can see the question: When was the most recent risk breach? The system flags this as Insufficient information. When you need to make updates, click Amend, edit the text, click Submit, and then, if you want the system to learn, click Approve. Approved changes are saved back into the workspace, creating a clear audit trail that improves answers in the future. You can see the audit trail below the answers. Once you’re happy with all the responses throughout the DDQ, click Download. All your approved answers are inserted back into the original DDQ format, ready to send to your investor. With GenDiligence, a 40-page DDQ that used to take weeks can now be drafted in minutes, with reliably sourced, auditable answers and no hallucinations.

6. Collaborate Securely with Role-based Access

Collaboration is simple and secure. Assign Super Admins, Workspace Admins, or Standard Users - and change roles anytime. See how easy it is to add your team.

From within Account Settings, we can manage users as the person who created the account. You can see that I’ve been assigned the Super Admin role. This happens by default, but it can be changed later. Here’s how the roles work. Super Admins have access to all workspaces and Account Settings. Account Settings are accessed here, and only Super Admins can see this area. Workspace Admins manage specific workspaces. They can add users and manage data connections, but they can’t change account-wide settings. Standard Users can only access the tools inside a workspace. Roles can be assigned or updated at any time. This flexibility keeps collaboration simple while protecting sensitive data. Now let’s add a user. Go to Invite User. Only the email address is required, so we’ll enter that first. Name and role are optional, but it’s good practice to include them to keep your account tidy. At this stage, you can assign the user as either a Super Admin or a Standard User. If you want someone to be a Workspace Admin, that’s done later within the Workspaces tab. See the Workspaces section for more information on how to do this. The invitation has now been sent. The invited user will receive an email with instructions on how to join the company account, allowing them to follow the same process shown in step one of this demo. And that’s it. Adding users is quick and flexible, with role-based access keeping your workspaces secure and well structured.

Manage your subscription directly from Account Settings. Only Super Admins can do this. Once you’re in Account Settings, click on Plans and Billing, and then go to Stripe. From here, you can add or update your payment method. You may be asked to verify the action within your banking app. Once your payment method has been added, click Update Subscription. From here, you can choose between a monthly or an annual plan. All billing is handled securely through Stripe, and your invoices are always available to download directly from your billing page. Plans and Billing, within Account Settings, is where you manage your plan, update payment details, and access invoices all in one place.
